season highlights:
On February 26 Counterpoints
Choir got First
Runner-up at the
Mooresville Show Choir Competition
On March 6
Counterpoints were named Grand Champion
in both the Show Choir Division and the Concert Choir Division
in Fort Wayne at the Carroll High School Invitational
On March
12 Counterpoints were named Grand
Champion
at the Lawrence Central Sound Classic,
sweeping every caption
award
(Best Vocals, Best Visuals, Best Band)
On March 15,
at the new Show Choir Competition at the
Clowes Memorial Hall Counterpoints were named the
Grand Champion again!
On May
7, 2005 the Counterpoints won
the
ISSMA State Choral contest.
This makes 6 years in a row and 10 times in the 20 year history
of the event.
Coupled with the win earlier
this Spring in the State Show Choir Competition category, that
means two state championship titles
for the Counterpoints in 2005!
Our hats are off to Mrs.
Wiehe and all of the Counterpoints who worked so hard this
year
to achieve
the Champion status!
